The Japanese House at the Barbican Centre
Silk Street, London, EC2Y 8DS

If you're an architecture fan like me, I urge you all to see The Japanese House exhibition at the Barbican Centre. Tickets are £10 but seriously, it'll be worth every penny.

The exhibition explores domestic Japanese architecture from the end of WW2; many buildings were created during this period which soon became some of the most influential examples of modern and contemporary design. Architects have used their designs to come up with innovative solutions to changing lifestyles due to the housing crisis. Weaving in and out of the fully furnished and spacious Moriyama House (major house goals) you can get a sense of Japanese culture through the details of the furniture/objects and admire the simplicity of the design.

PS. Made a Japan vlog on my Youtube channel, you can check it out HERE.
